I spent the semester of Fall 2013 working as an in-house graphic design intern for WEA Creative Services at Warner Music Group, one of the top organizations in the music industry. I worked individually and on a team for a variety of projects including fliers, on-line advertisements, and style guides to photoshoots, event planning/production, and pattern design. It was a fantastic, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
I researched elements and worked on page layouts for the Impress Your Peers branding style guide. This included working with the team in charge of ImpressYourPeers.com, a website targeted at college students promoting WMG artists and providing exclusive content.
I worked on the typography created for these Halloween merchandise web banners. I also assisted with the Soundscreen Merchandising promotional photo shoot for this group project.
I created a variety of fliers, including this flyer to be distributed by college representatives across the country. This is an alternate layout of the piece.
I worked on a few web-based pieces, including this header for a bi-monthly email to ADA/WMG business subscribers about restocking their product shelves.
I developed some geometric patterns for an internal branding system on Welcome Kit items, including the printing on this waterbottle. These will be handed out to future interns and employess at WEA, ADA, and WMG.
I assisted in product arrangements and displays for Soundscreen Merchandising promotional photo shoots. It was great to see the different aspects working in the graphic design field that went into each project.
Visited gallerys around New York including this one showcasing design studios of various size and structure in NYC.
